I had the priviage of attending a Jane Goodall speaking event In early 2011 and was intrigued by her colorful cape. Afterwards, she
allowed me to photorgaph her while she met with fans. In my studio, I supplied an African landscape (from www.dreamstime.com)
and created this imaginary moment of solitude in the wilderness (pehaps while she was taking notes). Ironically, at the time
of the photo, she was actually surrounded by people and signing a little girl's poster, but Jane's focus was so absolute she
could have just as well been alone at that instant.
